Winder Pad

The Version Comfort is the first saddle pad developed by us and serves as a template for all other models of the Winderen product family.

Due to its diverse possible uses, it is the most commonly used saddle pad. The use of this saddle pad with inserts in a thickness of 18 mm is recommended if you have previously used thick gel pillows, pads made of memory foam or lambskin pads.

The upper layer of the pad stabilizes the saddle by developing an "absorbing" effect on the back of the horse, and a kind of protective cover is created around the saddle. It also helps to correct unevenness in the position of the saddle and thus achieve the best possible fit. The most important thing: This layer behaves dynamically with every movement of the horse. The layer underneath offers astonishing shock absorbing and reduces the pressure points of the saddle on the horse to a minimum. In most cases, the pressure distribution ensures more comfort for the horse and often it is observed that the horse works more willing.

The third layer that comes closest to the horse's back reduces the forces that act on the back muscles and ensures more freedom of movement and faster. It also has a direct influence on the horse's performance. (89.6 % of the users surveyed have found an improvement in the back muscles of their horses).

We have the Version Slim developed on special demand from riders with custom -made saddles for individual horses. As with the Comfort version, the use consists of three different layers of technically highly developed materials. They were calibrated so that they maintain their properties of the energy absorption.

Due to the constant change in the back muscles of the horse, even individually adapted saddles need a correction after a while. This process is generally dynamic because the horse has constantly changed. In our Slim version, the layer that ensures compensation for these changes is reduced to a minimum. The material used for the following two layers is denser and offers the highest shock absorption and pressure distribution, as well as with the Comfort version. All of this is hidden in a thickness of only 10 mm and ensures the best results, even with tight -fitting saddles.

The Version correction Our winding back Protect Solution Sattelpads is based on the Comfort and Slim model. In this special model, the cover for the foam inserts is provided with your own pockets for the correction inserts made of felt that brings the saddle into balance.

This winding saddle pad has six (not four versions four) bags for the correction inserts. His shape was developed in collaboration with veterinarians and physiotherapists, with the aim of adapting saddles to the horse's back line. The use of these six pockets for the correction inserts (three on each side) enables simple and precise compensation of irregularities where this is necessary.

If you need a large correction area, for example 9 mm, you can use smaller correction inserts (e.g. 4 mm) in the middle of the saddle pad, for example, and to compensate for compensation elsewhere.

The use in the middle helps to improve the position and hold of the saddle on the horse. If you discover dry spots on your saddle ceiling after training, this is a sign that your saddle does not lay evenly on the horse and therefore generates pressure points. Thanks to the use of the correction inserts in different thicknesses, these defects can be compensated for, from 2 mm to 9 mm thickness.
